Dr Sondur Lakshmipathi, Director & CEO
Dr. Sondur Lakshmipathi is a highly accomplished professional with over 40 years of experience in Cellular Communications like 4G LTE, 5G, 5GA, 6G NTN, IOT, eMTC, WiFi, DSP, FPGA, SoC, GPU, and subjects like MIMO, Space-Time Coding and various Signal Processing areas. He has 25+ USA and World Patents granted in the field of IEEE802.11n, 4G LTE, IOT, MIMO, Space-Time Coding. Currently, Dr. Sondur is pioneering on 6G NTN based on AI-ML-DNN technologies across RF, Physical Layer, Protocol Stack and 5G Core.
Spanning 40+ years of industry working, Dr. Sondur Lakshmipathi served in various technical and management positions in several industries like IMEC, Encore, Intel, Esqube, Mymo Wireless and Alif Semiconductor Inc. He founded Mymo Wireless Technology Private Limited, a Fabless semiconductor company, which was later acquired by Alif Semiconductor Inc, USA, in 2019. Dr. Sondur also served in the Indian Air Force (IAF) for 15 years in the area of Radars and Communications.
PhD in ECE: Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, in the area of Array Signal Processing for 3D localization.
Keval Pankhaniya, Director & EVP
With over a decade of experience in wireless communications, digital signal processing and AI/ML, Keval Pankhaniya brings hands-on expertise from startups to global tech leaders.
Keval’s journey spans founding a startup called PEEPIP and then moving towards developing India’s first indigenous GSM interceptor at Mymo Wireless and advancing 3GPP compliant 4G/5G/NB-IoT Layer 1 (PHY) technology at Alif Semiconductor and Samsung. At Stuam Technologies Ltd, as a Principal engineer, Keval has led a team to successfully deliver the customised wireless modem solution.
Keval is specialized in PHY layer development from concept to silicon implementation across platforms like MATLAB, ARM, RISC-V, Tensilica DSP and Xilinx FPGA.
Keval is currently involved in design & development of L1 (PHY) for 6G TN/NTN and DECT NR+.
Sonia Munagapaty, Director & EVP
Mrs Sonia Munagapaty comes with 15 years of experience in 4G LTE and 5G NR Layer 2 and 3 development. She worked in Mymo Wireless for 6 years on MAC and PDCP layers development for 4G LTE including Security Layer. She developed the MAC scheduler for 5G NR. She extensively uses simulations of OAI for 5G communications. She is providing leadership in technology for the development of 6G TN & NTN Layer 2/3 and security related to products including DECT NR+. She is working out of Michigan, US.
Sunil Acharya, SFAL, Advisor to Ylectric Labs
Sunil Acharya is Director, Semiconductor Future Accelerator Lab Foundation (SFAL) and an independent semiconductor technology and business advisor.
Sunil has been advising the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) and several other companies foraying into the semiconductor industry in India.
Sunil has held global leadership cross geo roles in Strategy planning, Driving Product Management, Program management, and business development at leading global semiconductor and technology companies including intel, Narus (a subsidiary of the Boeing Company). He has worked across the globe leading and managing global teams and programs. Sunil has also been vice president at the India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA).
He has also been part of several government initiatives to grow the semiconductor ecosystem in the country. He has actively consulted and advised several companies involved in exploring setting up semiconductor and electronics manufacturing plants in India. (Including consulting work with Jindal Semiconductors, Nextgen High tech semiconductors, and others)
He is an Entrepreneur, investor and mentor to several IT and Semiconductor startups. Sunil has been part of the team which created india’s first Semiconductor Manufacturing Supply chain report encompassing materials, chemicals, and inputs required for semiconductor manufacturing. (IESA semiconductor manufacturing supply chain report).
Sunil has engineering degree in computer sciences and a Masters in computing and Information Technology from Australia and several professional certifications from global institutions such as Wharton, University of Virginia-Darden and others. He has also had published blogs and video interviews encompassing Semiconductors, geo politics and technology.
